Okay, this week I want to share a fun way to break down those writer's blocks that hit us all...
I have done this several times and find it quite an interesting way to make my day better when it is going all wrong...
Take an incident from your day and make you and the other people involved into children and see if the incident works out different...
Examples:
Your boss comes down hard on you about something you didn't get done - turn your boss into a bully from school and figure out a way to get back at them...
You have a customer who comes in and gets in your face about something that they think is right even when you know it isn't - turn the customer into a prissy spoiled brat and rework the story to get the best of her...
You and your husband/wife have a fight over what's for dinner - turn your husband/wife into a bossy sibling who is babysitting you or who you are babysitting and they are a picky eater...
Have some fun with this...Good luck...Hugs...

This is a great idea. Material really is all around us, but it often arrives in disguise. We have to do some work to uncover it.
I have made my boss a bully in many of my stories...grin...and my job gives me much more material each and every day...
